We are a project -oriented management company outsourcing the main yacht building packages to our strategic co-makers. Your meaningful purpose:

Prepare cost calculations as a part of proposals for custom-built large-scale yachts, in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, respecting the Client's wishes, technical requirements, (national and international) valid procedures, guidelines and applicable law and rules & regulations. 

What will your challenges be?

Cost Calculation

-        Discuss and review client wishes and technical requirements with internal and external stakeholders.

-        Gather all applicable and necessary information for the project.

-        Identify, report, and discuss risks and technical problem areas, suggesting mitigating actions and alternatives.

-        Request and evaluate quotations from third parties in close cooperation with Strategic Purchasing, Project Manager Design and internal stakeholders.

-        Attend meetings with client representatives as needed.

-        Prepare cost calculations based on the design and write sales-related documentation.

-        Review and advise on Contractual documentation

-        Maintain the project dossier during the pre-study phase.

Cost Evaluation

-         Analyse and compare actual financial project data in relation to prepared cost calculations to continuously improve cost calculation processes.

Knowledge

-        Support projects with regard to use of systems and applications, setting up the system environment and library, reporting structures. Train, advise and solve questions and/or problems of users.

 Reporting

-        Ensure timely and accurate reporting to superiors based on set key performance indicators in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.

 What do we ask for?

• HBO degree in related area
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role; work experience in cost estimating / project control
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• A good command of written and spoken English
• You recognise yourself in the following competencies: Problem solving, Perseverance, Autonomy, Expertise
