Your meaningful purpose:
To ensure lifetime contact with and support of the existing fleet. To ensure that warranty gradually changes into after sales support by providing drawings, spare parts, executing service jobs on foreign shipyards OSBIT, whilst surpassing expectations of stakeholders involved.
What will your challenges be?
- Planning and Budgeting
Develop, implement and execute a Fleet Support annual plan within given boundaries set by the overall Life Cycle Support strategy. Translate Fleet Support strategy in required personnel capacity and systems and agree budgeting with superior accordingly.
- Fleet Support
Ensure relationship management with existing customers and correct and timely handling outstanding or warranty issues, after sales and refit projects. Work closely together with Sales manager Refit/Rebuild/Aftersales. Ensure that warranty gradually changes into after sales support by providing drawings, spare parts, executing service jobs on foreign shipyards OSBIT, whilst surpassing expectations of stakeholders involved. Develop and maintain an international network of internal and external stakeholders to gain and keep access to relevant Fleet Support information and maximise sales potential with existing owners and fleet. Advise Director LCS based on evaluation results of fleet support projects, on possible improvements of processes resulting in and improved service level towards Clients.
- Management and Leadership
Lead, manage, develop and motivate assigned team of professionals in line with HR Policy, corporate values and agreed budget. Stimulate knowledge, competence and career development of subordinates. Focus on continuous improvement of product and processes. Assign Fleet Support Projects to Project Management Fleet Support.
- Reporting
Ensure timely and correct reporting to superior based on set key performance indicators in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines. Report commercial intelligence to Sales Management Refit.
