What will be your challenge?
In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- You are, as Project Manager Design (Marine), part of one of our inspiring project teams that realise our yachts. You report directly to the Manager Project Development.
- You review and perform shipping systems during the initial design phase as well later during the development of the project.
- You co-ordinate subcontracted design work and manage progress, review design information of third parties.
- You develop and manage together with the subcontractor drawings.
- You transfer the knowledge gained in the development phase to the project team.
- You continuously monitor and align all internal and external multidisciplinary expertise to maximise efficiency and profitability.
- You are up-to-date with developments in (national and international) applicable law, rules and regulations, certification and classification procedures and guidelines and yard standards.
What do we ask for?
- University or Higher Vocational Education (e.g. naval architecture) with relevant working experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
- You recognise yourself in the following competences; Helicopter view, anticipating, giving responsibility and conflict management
- You oversee the big picture and have a comprehensive view of the entire process
- You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach
- You are a proud and passionate teamplayer that is eager to learn
- A good command of written and spoken English
