We are a project-oriented management company outsourcing the main yacht building packages to our strategic co-makers. What will be your challenge?
In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- As a main tasks you execute operational work (construction, welding and outfitting) based on drawings and/or instruction of the Supervisor of the project
- You are actively involved in the building process of our yachts to give operational support within several disciplines
- The technical disciplines we distinguish are Construction, Outfit and Machinery. In assigning to a project the main expertise of the employee is taken into consideration
- You assist the Supervisor of the project in developing and monitoring quality standards and working methods of co-makers and subcontractors
- You occasionally preform pre-acceptance tests through control and acceptance of work of our co-makers and subcontractors. Verify technical execution and completeness of scope and ensure to meet the required level of performance
- You work in aligned co-makership with our Partners and see and realise possible synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect
What do we ask for?
- Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience related in the due discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience preferably in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
- You recognise yourself in the following competences; Problem-solving ability, quality orientation and adaptability
- You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach
- You are a proud and passionate teamplayer that is eager to learn
- Knowledge of MS office applications
- A basic command of spoken English
