Your meaningful purpose:

Develop, lead and manage the company sustainability strategy in close co-operation with internal and external stakeholders. To realize approved sustainability projects in compliance with applicable procedures, guidelines, law, rules and regulations.

What will your challenges be?

-        Planning and Budgeting

Develop and implement a Sustainability Strategy, including a 5-year roadmap, based on customer needs, market information and applicable law, rules and regulations. After approval, translate long term strategy into clear annual plans, required projects, personnel capacity and systems and agree budgeting with superior accordingly.

-        Sustainability

Engage with the company, our co-makers, suppliers, industry and non-industry stakeholders to actively build up knowledge about sustainability trends, innovations and best practices in the market, to be a valued conversation partner both internally and externally. Gather whenever and wherever possible information, filter and share this information with internal stakeholders to support the integration of sustainability into the company’s overall strategy and operations. Leading initiatives and be the motivator and ambassador for Sustainability to raise awareness of sustainability efforts both internally and externally. Monitor, report and participate in (inter)national industry events and conferences. Managing the internal governance process, monitoring progress, learnings, and KPIs of all sustainability programs. Developing and implementing systems to track and report on sustainability metrics. Creating comprehensive reports and compelling presentations to enhance our sustainability leadership and enabling decision making related to implementation of sustainability into our company and projects. Initiate sustainability projects, submit to manager for approval and after that realize projects and communicating sustainability progress and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Leading the establishment of a controlled data flow for ESG disclosures and the implementation of the annual ESG report. Ensure timely and correct reporting to superior based on set key performance indicators in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.

What do we ask for?

• University or Higher Vocational Education degree with relevant work experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
• You recognise yourself in the following competencies: Helicopter view, Organisation engagement, Result orientation, Kindling enthusiasm
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• A good command of written and spoken English
