What will be your challenge?

In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • You are, as Project Manager Engineering, part of one of our inspiring project teams that realise our yachts. You report directly to the Project Director.
  • Oversee technical project management, ensuring compliance with specifications, Classification Society standards, and Oceanco protocols.
  • Plan, monitor, and deliver accurate engineering documentation through collaboration with Engineering Coordinators and third parties.
  • Act as the primary contact for owners’ representatives, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, managing project scope, quality, and performance.
  • Conduct regular meetings to align multidisciplinary efforts, optimize efficiency, and resolve challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting production, commissioning, and after-sales teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate engineering team reports, addressing variances and providing insights to the Project Core Team.
  • Prepare detailed status updates and performance reports for senior management.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the Engineering team, promoting continuous improvement and career growth.

What do we ask for?

  • University or Higher Vocational Education with relevant working experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
  • You recognize yourself in the following competences; Helicopter view, anticipating, giving responsibility, conflict management and experienced.
  • You oversee the big picture and have a comprehensive view of the entire process
  • You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach
  • You are a proud and passionate team player that is eager to learn
  • Knowledge of MS office applications and preferably AutoCad and Rhinoceros
  • A good command of written and spoken English
